Master Class In Vacuum Delivery (vacuum extraction)
After completing the Online and Hands-on Workshop on vacuum extraction, participants will be better able to:

Recognise the indications and contraindications for vacuum delivery and to classify the indications into lower and higher risk groups
Evaluate key obstetric factors in order to select patients for whom vacuum delivery is appropriate
Understand and practise the procedural steps and technique for non-rotational and rotational vacuum extraction
Establish safety measures for vacuum extraction that may be instituted prior to, during and following the procedure
