Training Manikins

A high-fidelity manikin named 'Lucy's Mum' has been developed specifically for vacuum delivery training by an Australian manufacturer in collaboration with Vacca Research. The manikin provides a means of simulating each step of a vacuum delivery to a high degree of reality and enables practitioners to acquire the technical skills that are required for safe and successful vacuum delivery in clinical practice. Lucy's Mum is suitable also for forceps delivery training.
